Cross Country / Hok Skiing

Au Diable Vert is perched at 1,000’ and is a good backcountry terrain, ideal for ski touring. You are always welcome on all the Au Diable Vert trails with your skis. Approximately 85% of the terrain around our park is accessible on skis. However due to the challenging terrain, it is not ideal for the beginner skier.

Details and Pricing

For those ready for a snowy adventure but not equipped with backcountry skis, Au Diable Vert offers the rental of Hok skis. Hok ski is an easy to use short and wide backcountry ski fitted with a universal binding to which you attach your winter boots and an integrated skin which allows for uphill climbs. Hok skis allow you to explore backcountry landscapes without the need for ski tracks. It’s as easy as clamping them on and heading off for a winter adventure!
