First and only Canadian Canopy Cycle

Be among the first to fly to the treetops on a recumbent bike. The 1,000-meter circuit meanders along a mountainside passing through ravines and over waterfalls, allowing you to peer through the canopy at the Green Mountains of Vermont. 45 unique minutes not to be missed!

All youth under 16 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
All participants must be at least 12 years old  or older AND be at least 4 feet 8 inches (142cm) tall.

SCHEDULE

Open every weekend starting in mai and then every day every day from June until middle of October.

Departures every 30 minutes from 10am to 4:30pm.

Reservation strongly recommended.

Please check our availability online for reduced hours or closures due to maintenance and inspections.

Arrival time: we ask you to arrive 15min in advance of your booked time. At the park, you will have to register at the office and then walk (5min) to the VeloVolant departure building where a short information session/video will be played (in French only – please let us know if you would like the instructions in English).
Safety: we have scheduled a time to brief you on the safety of the activity and to inform you of the guidelines to follow to make your experience safe and enjoyable.
Duration of the activity: From the moment you arrive at the gate of Au Diable Vert, you should allow approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to complete the activity. That is to say: check-in and fill out the waiver form, quick stop at the washrooms if needed, walk to the VeloVolant building and do your information session, pedal the VeloVolant course (approximately 45min). You are welcome to use the trails  before or after your activity, but you must check-in first and respect park opening hours (10am to 5pm).
• Guide: Our staff is trained to ensure your safety.
• Respect of the rules: Rules and regulations in the park and for the VeloVolant activity are for your safety and must be followed.

• Children under 12 years old are not allowed
• The activity is reserved for children over 12 years old ONLY (please be prepared show a proof of age such as the child’s medicare card) and all participants under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult during the safety briefing prior to the ride.
• The minimum  height is 4 feet and 8 inches (142cm). You will be measured before you can participate.
• The  maximum weight is 220 lbs (100 kg). You will be weighed before you can participate.
• Participants must be in good physical condition. Anyone with an injury will not be admitted (leg in a cast, crutch, cane etc). All participants must have full use of both arms and both legs.
• Participants must be comfortable with heights.
• Due to the nature of the activity and the minimum distances required between VeloVolant bikes, participants must be able to complete the entire course by themselves, unaided and unaccompanied.
• Participants must understand safety instructions in English or French.Participants must be comfortable with heights.
• Participants must be able to aid in their own rescue if required.
• For safety reasons, a person who does not meet these requirements will not be admitted nor reimbursed.
• Any person who appears to be impaired (alcohol/drugs) or any person with risky behaviour can be denied access without further notice.
• All safety precautions must be followed. We may remove a participant who violates a rule without further notice and without reimbursement.

Comfortable outdoor clothing is strongly recommended.  You must bring clothes appropriate for the weather. The activity is not cancelled in case of rain, and the weather in the mountains can be quite different and change quickly.

Firmly attached shoes or sandals are mandatory. (no flipflops, slippers or slides)

We recommend that you empty your pockets. Loose items can be placed in a small pocket behind your seat. Au Diable vert is not responsible for items lost during the activity.

Please note that these decisions are made based on actual local weather.

    It is the client’s responsibility to be aware of the rules, requirements and risks inherent to the activity and to inform all participants in their group. Each participant will have to have signed the release form prior to participating in the activity. We suggest you take the time to read the document prior to reserving.

RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND

ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT

1.I DO HEREBY RELEASE the operator and its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents from all liability, and DO HEREBY WAIVE as against the operator and its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents all recourses, proceedings, claims, and causes of action of any kind whatsoever, in respect of any and all personal injuries or property losses which I may suffer arising out of or connected with my preparation for, or participation in VéloVolant notwithstanding that such injuries or losses may have been caused solely or partly by the negligence or breach of duty of the operator, or any of their directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors or agents.

2.I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT:

  • VéloVolant may be dangerous, exposing participants to many risks and hazards, some of which are inherent in the very nature of VéloVolant itself, others which result from human error and negligence on the part of the persons involved in organizing, staging and/or operating the VéloVolant;
  • as a result of the aforesaid risks and hazards, I as a participant may suffer serious personal injury, even death, as well as property loss;
  • some of the aforesaid risks and hazards are foreseeable, but others are not;
  • I nevertheless freely and voluntarily assume all the aforesaid risks and hazards, and that, accordingly, my preparation for, and participation in VéloVolant shall be entirely at my own risk;
  • I understand that neither the operator nor any of its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors or agents assume any responsibility whatsoever for my safety during the course of my preparation for or participation in VéloVolant;
  • I have carefully read this RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION of RISK AGREEMENT (the “Agreement”), that I fully understand same, and that I am freely and voluntarily executing same;
  • I clearly understand that by signing this Agreement I will be FOREVER PREVENTED FROM SUING OR OTHERWISE CLAIMING against the operator, its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and agents for any loss or damage connected with any property loss or personal injury that I may sustain while participating in or preparing for VéloVolant, whether or not such loss or injury is caused solely or partly by the negligence of the operator or any of its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors and/or agents;
  • I have been given the opportunity and have been encouraged to seek legal advice prior to signing this Agreement;
  • I clearly understand that the operator would not permit me to participate in the operator unless I signed this RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION of RISK AGREEMENT, that this RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION of RISK AGREEMENT applies to VéloVolant whether occurring in the near or distant future, and that the terms of this Agreement have been explained to me by the operator or one or more of their representatives;
  • this RELEASE and WAIVER of LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION of RISK AGREEMENT is binding on myself, my heirs, my executors, administrators, personal representatives and assigns;
  • this Agreement may be in addition to another agreement I must sign as a condition of participation in VéloVolant and that I am bound by the terms and conditions of both agreements; and
  • I agree that I am physically capable of participating in VéloVolant, and that I have no pre-existing conditions that would hinder my ability to participate in VéloVolant.

  • I understand that neither VéloVolant organized, staged and/or operated by 9269-2377 Quebec Inc. o/a VéloVolant and/or 9229-4685 Quebec Inc. o/a Au Diable Vert (hereinafter referred to as “the operator”) nor any of its directors, officers, employees, sponsors, independent contractors, members, players or agents assume any responsibility whatsoever for my safety during the course of my preparation for or participation in VéloVolant;
  • I have carefully read this ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK FORM, fully understand same, and acknowledge that I am freely and voluntarily executing this Form;
  • I have been given the opportunity and have been encouraged to seek legal and parental advice prior to signing this Form;

    • It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Au Diable Vert by email info@audiablevert.com to reschedule or change a reservation (within the time frames outlined in the policies below). ONLY an email to info@audiablevert.com will be accepted (no phone calls, no texts nor messages via our social media sites).

Cancellation policies:

A 10% transaction fee is applicable on all cancellations made more than 14 days before your activity date

    • A 50% fee is applicable for a cancellation made within 4 to 14 days before your activity date. For any cancellation three days or less before the date of your activity, there is no refund. No refunds once you are on site, in case you decide not to do the activity.  No refunds will be issued if participants are denied access to the course for failure to meet screening or participation requirements (including exceeding the maximum weight requirement 220lb or 100kg, not meeting the age requirement 12 years old and minimum height 142cm/56 inches), choose not to participate at the last minute, or are removed from the course for their inability to follow guide instructions or to participate safely.

Date change policy:

    A change of date is possible without charge more than 7 days before your activity date. You can only make one (1) date change per reservation, once a change is made a 50% fee is applicable for any subsequent cancellation or modification. Three days or less before the date of your activity, no changes and no refunds are possible.
