Who we are?
Au Diable Vert is an unusual concept in the world of outfitters, but a concept that proves more and more popular and relevant each year
Facilitating the Quebec wilderness experience, no matter what the season, is what we strive to do better and better each year. From our location, one of the only plateaus in the Sutton mountain range, Au Diable Vert is perched between the summits of Round Top and Jay Peak.
Our activities
Our guests have the chance to appreciate nature and the spectacular view of the Appalachian and Green mountains, with binoculars, camera, hiking poles, a kite or hand-in-hand with a loved one.
Our people-powered activities include hiking, snowshoeing and skiing on our 19 kms of private trails. You chose your distance, a short stroll or a longer excursion to one of many local lookouts.
Calm water kayaking, guided moonlight kayaking, stand up paddle boards, river tubing. Of course, numerous other local pursuits always ensure guests are as entertained as possible!
Another interesting activity the VeloVolant, is a pedal-propelled canopy cable ride that slowly allows visitors to glimpse forest life from above. A Canadian first, and only the third in the world!
Visit the ObservÉtoiles outdoor planetarium with augmented reality, the first in the World of its kind, situated in the middle of the Au Diable Vert Dark Sky Preserve. Young and old will be impressed with this new way of looking at the stars.
Our accommodations
A broad range of comfortable accommodations offer something for everyone. Guests can choose from one of three of our luxurious mountain view suites, or one of 31 rustic four-season cabins, including several perched high in the trees or extending over rock cliffs. Another reason for our success is our ability to offer something for every taste and every budget.
With accommodations between 100 meters and 1 kilometers from the reception, while each feels very remote and secluded, they are all very accessible, even for those who are not very ‘outdoorsy’ or those with young children in tow.
